In some cases, colours of reserved words rather disturb the reader, see the last two lines where it does not get clear at first sight that the greyed endings are just parts of the filenames and not the parameters of an executable:

There is already a feature to add markdown code so that colours are suppressed, see this. But this was not known to me up to now, after being a user for quite a while, and I see a chance of a new feature that does not need markdown knowledge.
The existing code format button {}:
- could be complemented by another button that does not use colours;
- or to make things easier, it could be the same button, but you get the choice at click-time;
- or the new feature would only be available as a shortcut which would be shown when hovering over the normal code format button.
